Brittany was a kind and caring person who enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her dog Koda. She often went on walks along the river near her home, telling her father that the sound of the water would soothe her.

Brittany Alyse Stancil, age 27, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.
She was born in Atlanta, GA on May 5, 1993. Brittany was employed as a certified nurse assistant at Stephens County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father Michael Eugene Stancil.
Survivors include her mother Lisa Annette Stancil of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law Christopher and Emily Stancil of Toccoa; nephew Barrett Stancil; maternal grandmother Sandra Annette Mitchell of Lawrenceville, GA; paternal grandparents Dianne and Jerry Stancil of Cumming, GA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Kevin Whitlock officiating. Burial will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Brittany Alyse Stancil Passed Away July 16, 2022
Brittany Alyse Stancil, age 20, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022.
She was born in Stephens County, GA, on October 21, 2001, to parents Larry and Tracy (Neeley) Stancil.
Brittany was a 2020 graduate of Stephens County High School and was currently attending North Georgia Technical College. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and riding four-wheelers. Brittany will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Rev. Jerry Chastain officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Tugaloo State Park Cemetery.
Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
